Legend Brands is hiring a CNC Machinist Assistant for our Prescott AZ location.
Program CNC machines for basic operation, and perform all machining operations required to produce finished products from a variety of raw materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
Job Requirements:
Operate machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery Use calipers or other measuring instruments in order to perform quality control checks on parts in process and upon completion Load parts in machine, cycles machine Detect and report malfunctions in machine operation Run production lots Perform daily maintenance on machinery Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs Maintain safe, organized work environment as well as cleanliness of the equipment Perform necessary tasks and paperwork for the proper movement and control of parts

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Organize material and complete reports according to pre-defined standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (preferred). Industry certificates are preferred but not required. Ability to obtain Engineer Intern certification preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, including Test and Balance or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. Familiarity with current building, energy, and mechanical codes and standards.

Understanding of HVAC engineering fundamentals, including load calculations, conceptual systems analysis through construction documentation design, equipment design and layout, and duct and pipe sizing.
Customer service oriented. Proficient computer skills and strong technical writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Well organized and possess superior management abilities to support several projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and self-directed while remaining a team player.
Ability to travel out of state up to 50% of the time.

The Commercial Façade Field Technician actively performs and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
They will be responsible for attending safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting, and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures including:
$21-38/hour (not including prevailing wage)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Execution of project tasks with knowledge of expected production rates, ensuring tools and materials are used safely and efficiently to complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents as directed by foreman.
Responsible to aid foreman in tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and performs work in compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, etc. Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and use of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Foreman. Understands and executes proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Foreman and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct.
