We're looking for a talented Groundsperson to work with our Client based near Clitheroe, Lancashire BB7 area.

The hours for this role are 38 - 40 hours/week covering 5/5.5 days/week.

The Role:
As the Groundsperson you will provide professional maintenance duties in a glorious private property extending to 18 acres.
The client has 2 woodland areas and recently purchased 7 acres which they planted to woodland.
To ensure success you need to demonstrate multitasking abilities to meet the required standard for the property.
A willingness to work with a small number of hobby farm animals and pets is essential as is availability to drive, out of normal hours, for extra income.
You Will also be tasked with:
Maintaining condition and appearance of lawns and grounds.
Mowing, watering and fertilising lawns.
Planting, trimming, mulching and fertilising flowers, shrubs, hedges and trees.
Cleaning and maintaining property and general upkeep performing light repairs as necessary.
Keeping facilities and surrounding areas free from debris and weeds.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and materials.
Following applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
Performing other duties as required.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Groundsperson role will be hard-working, detail orientated, organised and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
You will also need:
Appropriate qualifications or 2 years work experience in a similar position.
Proficient knowledge of maintaining lawns, fields, grounds and woodlands.
Full, clean driving licence is essential.
Proficient with operating groundskeeping equipment such as tractors, power mowers, strimmers and chainsaws.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
Ability to work as an individual under own initiative.

Performance Management:
The post holder will be expected to contribute to their annual performance development review and interim performance reviews (this process is currently under review)
Health and Safety:
The post holder will be responsible for their own health and safety and the impact of their advice and actions on others and seeks guidance as appropriate.

The Candidate
To be the right person for the Network Operations Manager role you will require 5 years Supervisory experience in a Gas or similar Industry Environment.
You will also need:
Extensive technical and operational knowledge relevant to Natural Gas and LPG associated with Engineering and Service Functions.
Demonstrate and understands Technical / Engineering Standards and Codes of Practice applied within the Gas Industry.
Demonstrate and understands compliance with all the Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
Able to demonstrate understanding of Financial and Risk management within a utility business.
Competence in the maintenance and operation of Gas Plant and Equipment.
Eng or minimum Tech.Eng.
Membership of a relevant Professional body.
(IGEM, IMECHE, ICE)
Demonstrate a good knowledge of Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Gas Plant and Equipment.
Health and Safety at a minimum level of IOSH
Proven ability of management of staff and resources.
Proven experience of developing individuals, building teams, and resolving conflict.
Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the quality required.
Use of IT and other relevant software.
Ability to assess and implement new technical innovations that will support improved performance and productivity.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, customers, and external bodies.
Clear, concise, and articulate communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively.

The Role:

A minimum of City & Guilds qualified to Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) & Part C
To be COMPEX qualification or be committed to qualify to achieve it
Basic knowledge of systems covering standby generators, PLC controls & instrumentation, AC & DC wiring systems, 3 phase pumps and compressors
The ability to undertake training and assessments as required to provide or confirm competence for the range of tasked activities
Have experience in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Hold a Full and Valid Driving Licence
Reliability, quality of data reported and adherence to safety and procedures as directed
Working knowledge of IT systems such as e-mail
Have a right to work in the UK and/or Jersey
