The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Marketing Manager to join a high-performing Marketing function based in North Sydney.
This role is responsible for shaping and delivering end-to-end customer engagement strategies for existing customers, with a strong focus on retention, loyalty and lifetime value.
You will own customer communications across the full lifecycle, designing insight-led, multi-channel campaigns that enhance satisfaction, strengthen advocacy and support sustainable business growth.
Working closely with data, product, CX, technology and risk teams, this role plays a critical part in ensuring every customer touchpoint is consistent, compliant and delivers genuine value.
Key Accountabilities
Own and deliver the customer engagement strategy across key lifecycle moments, including onboarding, post-settlement, retention and re-engagement.
Design and execute targeted, end to end multi-channel customer communications across email, SMS, app notifications and direct mail, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant and on-brand.
Lead the delivery of customer NPS programs in partnership with insights teams, translating feedback into actionable initiatives that improve satisfaction and loyalty.
Leverage customer data and insights to identify opportunities for retention, refinance, loyalty initiatives and value-adding cross-sell campaigns.
Develop and optimise automated customer journeys, using segmentation and personalisation to continually improve engagement and campaign performance.
Ensure all customer marketing activity adheres to financial services regulations, privacy requirements and internal risk frameworks, embedding compliance into day-to-day processes.
Manage external agency and platform partners to support campaign execution and research initiatives.
Ideal Experience
Strong background in customer lifecycle, retention or loyalty marketing within financial services is essential (lending, consumer banking preferred).
Hands-on experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms to deliver personalised communications at scale.
Strong understanding of customer insights, NPS programs and how to translate feedback into meaningful action.
Confidence working across complex stakeholder groups and influencing outcomes in a collaborative environment.

The Opportunity
As the Digital Design Lead, you'll take ownership of the UX/UI vision across a market-leading digital platform used daily by financial advisers.
You'll lead a team of designers, set clear design direction, and embed strong design systems and ways of working across the product lifecycle.
While this role is strategic and people-focused, you'll remain close enough to the work to provide guidance, review outputs, and ensure high-quality, consistent design outcomes.
You'll also play a key role in evolving design practices, including the rollout of a new design system and the responsible adoption of AI-enabled design and delivery tools.
What You'll Be Doing
Design Leadership & Team Enablement
Lead, coach and develop a team of UX designers, building capability, confidence and consistency

Embed user-centred design thinking into day-to-day delivery
Design Systems & Governance
Lead the establishment and governance of a Material Design-based design system

End-to-End Design Delivery

Act as a trusted design voice across the organisation
Influence senior stakeholders on UX and design decisions

Customer & Advisor Experience
Champion customer-centred design for external, B2B users
Engage directly with financial advisers to understand real-world workflows and needs

Bring curiosity, ideas or hands-on exposure to AI-assisted design, research or development
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading and developing UX or digital design teams
Strong background designing B2B digital platforms, ideally advisor- or enterprise-facing
Experience working in-house alongside product managers and software engineers
Hands-on experience establishing, scaling and governing design systems
Strong understanding of end-to-end digital product delivery
Ability to influence without authority in complex, regulated environments
A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with a contractor mindset
Industry experience in wealth management, financial advice, fintech or similar B2B domains is highly regarded.

Ideal Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related discipline.
Strong capability across Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat, along with Microsoft Office tools essential.
Strong experience working off Mac all designers work off Mac not PC/Windows)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Strong experience with long form content (brochures, ebooks etc).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
