German Speaking Account Manager & Team Leader

Title: German Speaking Senior Account Manager


Salary: £45-55,000


Location: West London (flexibility to work remotely)

We are looking for a German speaker who will act both as an Account Manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, as well as a Team Leader of a small team of 3 Sales Executives.


The role is a combination of supporting and managing the existing independent accounts (agents across the territory) and also account managing and growing in-house accounts including department stores and multiple retailers.

Amongst other, your responsibilities will be:


- Overseeing order processing and helping where necessary - stock availability checking and allocating


- Supporting agents: answering queries, helping grow their accounts with commercial and brand awareness


- Managing key accounts and looking to grow the business with a long-term view


- Researching new potential accounts by finding new opportunities within the markets


- Liaising with the despatch team to ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently, as well as monitoring the credit control on payments


- Answering all customer queries and building strong relationships with clients


- Reporting to Head of International Sales on a regular basis all information pertaining to the accounts, including running agent weekly and monthly sales analysis



Key competencies that we are looking on a candidate:


- Fluent in German and English


- Previous experience of Account Management or Sales Support


- Experience of managing or supervising other team members


- Personable and positive attitude to maximising sales through professional relationships, whilst understanding business limitations


- Ability to understand the wider context of managing the Accounts; liaising with different functions of the business internally.
