Senior Research Software Engineer

Location: Harpenden / Remote

Salary: up to £45K + Benefits

Our client is an innovative gene discovery and analytics platform using Knowledge Graphs and AI to help scientists see through the complexity of connected bioscience data.

They are looking for an energetic software engineer to join their R&D team to develop cutting-edge software solutions Engineer for mining and visualising knowledge graphs.



The Role Include



* Solve full-stack software engineering problems to facilitate the execution of research projects


* Work with scientists to produce software solutions based on graph-based bioinformatics approaches


* Design and implement software infrastructure required for the development and deployment of research-based software solutions


The successful candidate will need to be a motivated and creative individual who can take ownership of tasks and be able to work collaboratively in a scientific setting, sharing knowledge and learning from others.





* You will work with bioinformaticians, biologists and software developers to constantly innovate and implement new features.




* You will need to have strong programming skills in JavaScript and an interest in big data, understanding AI, and graph databases.


They are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to see the bigger picture.
