Job Title             Bar & Front of House Supervisor – London Events Venue

Salary:                £25,000 + £27,000 + Benefits

Location:             London

My client is a beautiful and historic venue in London, who deliver amazing events from conferences to weddings and receptions.

They are seeking a Bar & Front of House Supervisor to join their team! The main focus of this role will be overseeing all beverage operations, so we are seeking someone with strong bar experience and confident in stock control.

You will also be responsible for assisting with Front of House duties, serving on events and providing an excellent level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee stock purchases, stock control, rotation and service delivery
• Coordinate and manage company and catering stock take
• Manage inventory of glassware
• Lead and maintain up to date prices for all catering beverages
• Assist in preparation of set up for events
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
• Oversee and assist in delivery of events, providing a high level of customer service at all times
• Liaise and communicate between departments to ensure smooth service
• Train junior and agency staff when required

Skills and Experience:

• Strong bar and stock control experience either from hospitality or events background
• Knowledgeable about drinks (wine and cocktails)
• Experience in a supervisory position
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional and well presented
• Enthusiastic and a real team player
