Workshop Manager, basic up to £36K plus company car and fuel card, OT available, Permanent position, life assurance, 25 days plus stats with further increases due to service - up to 30 days

Location of the Workshop Manager position: Normanton, Leeds

A leading European Fleet Maintenance company require a time served or experienced HGV Workshop Manager or HGV Mechanic (that is looking for a move up).

The role comes with a company vehicle and fuel card.



Duties of the Workshop Manager Position:

• Mentor and guide trainees/ lesser experienced individuals


• Scrutinise Invoices for clarity and quality of workmanship


• Checking HGV's for MOT's


• Quality control; manage the quality of job sheets.


• Oversee the procurement of parts


• Manage the Fleet maintenance system


• Liaise with internal and external people to ensure the smooth running of the workshop


• Using computer-based programs to log and record information
