IT Infrastructure Analyst - Servers/Back-ups/Storage - Chester/Liverpool/Flexible

£32,000- £36,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus flexible working (2/3 days from home)

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst for a leading global organisation based near Chester, where you will be responsible for providing infrastructure support as part of a small European team, focusing on Data Centre support and Servers/Virtualisation/Hyper-V.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the latest cloud technology.

The role will be 2/3 days from home, with a requirement to be in the office 1 or 2 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have previous infrastructure support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• To provide infrastructure support, Physical Server Administration


• Virtual Server Administration, Backup and Replication Administrations


• Providing 2nd/3rd line support from hardware, software, and network to internal teams.


• Working with project teams to ensure documentation is maintained and up to date.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

Key Skills required:

• Previous infrastructure support experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.


• Server builds and server support experience would be highly desirable


• Virtualisation experience (VMware/Hyper-V) would be desirable for this role.


• Experience with Azure/AWS would be highly desirable


• Previous experience in an 2nd/3rd line IT support/IT infrastructure role


• Able to perform complex troubleshooting


• TCP/IP and Networking Experience would be desirable

Salary: Our client is offering a salary of £32,000- £36,000 per annum, with a variety of excellent benefits available on offer.
