Locum Child Protection Team Manager

London Borough of Southwark is looking for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join their Child Protection, 0-15 Team.

This team does not include care proceedings.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Team manager you will have knowledge and experience managing a Team as well as experience working in within a Child Protection Team.

The key to success in this role is to be able to lead, motivate, nurture, and manage a team.

You will be expected to demonstrate relevant theoretical Social Work concepts, practices and detailed organisational knowledge relating to the provision of a professional Social Work service.

Your responsibilities as a Team Manager:

• 2+ Years Management Experience


• Good knowledge of Children Looked After


• Exemplary leadership, management, and professional guidance to a team of social workers


• To ensure the delivery of a social work service which is both relationship-based and responsive to the needs of children


• To promote, lead and manage the development of excellent and confident practitioners
  

Requirements of you as a Team Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• A valid Social Work England registration


• Have competent knowledge and experience as Team Manager and within Child Protection or Looked After Children


• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is required

Location: Southwark, London

Umbrella pay rate: up to £38.00
