Job Title              Operations Manager – Large Scale Venue - Berkshire

Salary:                 £40,000 - £40,000 + Benefits

Location:             Berkshire

My client is a large-scale venue hosting big crowds across numerous events throughout the year.

We are seeking an experienced operations manage to join the team, responsible for delivering outstanding and safe customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the smooth operational delivery of events on site
• Managing a budget of over £2 million
• Day to day management and development of the operations and events team
• Site safety management including crowd control and liaison with blue light services / council etc
• Book and manage all casual staff ensuring they are fully trained and briefed
• Implement and manage all plans and processes across the operational teams
• Bring innovative solutions to the department, keeping up to date with the latest safety technology

The Ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working on large scale events
• Strong man management skills, ability to lead an engaged team
• Solid knowledge of all relevant H&S legislations
• Level 4 Crowd Management
• Experience working on large or multi-site venues
• Excellent communication skills
• Detailed understanding of budget management
• Autonomy and the ability to make effective decisions and produce results
