Junior sales engineer

Our client is seeking to appoint a Sales administrator (Entry Level) to join their team in Brighouse on a temp to perm basis.

They are looking to recruit a Sales administrator to Initially assist the sales department with 2D CAD layout drawings and sales administration which includes processing of new orders etc.After this 6 months period there will be an opportunity to switch to a permanent design role and move fully into the design department therefore some experience with mechanical design will be an advantage

Key responsibilities of the Sales administrator) will include:

Produce and amend 2D CAD general arrangement layout drawings.Processing of new orders from customers.Liaise with customers on the telephone & via.

email.Liaise with design and production departments.

Skills & experience of the Sales administrator

• Ideally you will have 2D CAD experience.


• Preferably will have worked within the engineering/manufacturing industry.


• Excellent accuracy & attention to detail.


• Methodical & structured approach to tasks.


• Have a positive & problem-solving attitude to challenges.


• Able to produce professional & grammatically correct correspondence.

In order to be successful in the Sales administrator role you must be:

• Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels


• Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team


• Able to working under pressure to maintain deadlines


• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above

What's on offer for the Sales administrator

The hours of work are:-

Monday-Thursday 7:45am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch + 2 off 15 minutes breaks.

Friday 7:45am to 1:45pm with a 15 minute break.
