Senior Practitioner - MASH

An Essex based Local Authority is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their MASH Service.

As the Senior Practitioner, you will be supporting your Team Manager and Deputy Team Manager in developing the team.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Senior Practitioner will need to be a resilient and authoritative practitioner who places children and young people and their welfare at the heart of their practice.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:

• Manage Complex cases


• Planning intervention and Support


• Offer case advice, mentoring, coaching, and guidance


• Support the development of the service


• liaise with both internal and external partners to ensure that children and young people are safe

Requirements of you as the Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• A valid Social Work England (SWE) registration


• Experience of working within Child Protection


• Experience in providing high-quality assessments


• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Essex

Salary: Up to £46,000
