If so, We are currently looking for an experienced Development Manager who will be working with one of the biggest construction companies within Civil Engineering based in Waterloo.
This role will be full-time working hours with a range of benefits to match.
A successful individual would possess the following skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good level of programming knowledge and able to manage a programme.
- Good level of NEC3 knowledge, and ability to administer the contract
- Design Management skills
- Ability to provide 1:1 coaching, and also to mentor pre-delivery personnel to aid development.
- You will have experience and references of managing and delivering against deadlines
- Engineering knowledge with relevant experience in suitable disciplines, such as Civils, Mechanical & Electrical, Rail principles.
What are you responsible for?
As a Development Manager you will be responsible for successful development of a sub-package of pre-construction works, You will be responsible for the development of schemes through design and other pre-construction activities, to ultimately hand over the schemes to our Delivery teams to construct.
This entails working closely with our customers, stakeholders, our main design partner, other designers, supplier partners, and our delivery teams to create solutions that delight our customers, are of a high quality, within the financial targets set and in line with agreed programmes

What are my core responsibilities as a Development Manager?
Maintaining safety, health & well-being
Accountable for surveys and site investigations
General I.T admin work
Responsible for financial performance
Planning & preparing pre-deliveries, survey strategies and many more!
taking remits from the client to delivery stage for the construction team (enhancements or renewals of current infrastructure) within the rail environment
Experience & Tickets Necessary
- Network Rail Knowledge & experience
- 2 Year's rail work experience (preferred)
- Degree in civil engineering (preferred)
- CSCS card
- Track safety card
Salary £37.5k to £45k
