Accounts Admin Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Admin Assistant who has a proven track record of supplying administrative support to Accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails and basic bookkeeping.


We have an opportunity for the successful Accounts Admin Assistant join an internationally renowned manufacturer at their purpose-built facility in the West Yorkshire area who specialize in bespoke cutting tools.


Primary duties of the Accounts Admin Assistant:



  • Raising purchase orders.

  • Ordering materials from suppliers & chasing deliveries.

  • Booking goods in receipts.

  • Liaising with stores and all departments.

  • General accounts and office administration.

  • Collating information and Payroll preparation.

  • Purchase invoices input.

  • Matching dispatch paperwork with purchase orders, identifying discrepancies and follow up.


Competences required of the Accounts Admin Assistant:



  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word & Outlook).

  • Javelin or similar Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
