As one of the two main leaders in their market, the are extremely well placed to capitalise on a growing market and they are now looking make a key appointment in recruiting a General Counsel.

This is a position which would suit a UK qualified solicitor, who will report directly into the Board and CFO and prove to be an integral and valued member of the Executive Committee.

This is an essential position at a critical time as the group looks to make a timely move onto the next phase of their genuinely exciting journey.

The ideal candidate is likely to have had significant experience of working within the financial services sector and possesses a solid understanding the language the FCA and other regulators connected with the sector tend to employ.

It's likely you'll have at least 8 years PQE and will be a commercially minded and pragmatic problem solver.

They are not simply seeking a black letter law specialist.

Exposure to Private Equity would be beneficial but isn't essential - most important are your honed organisation and communication skills as you form an integral fulcrum between external advisors, key stakeholders and the PE owners.

Its ultimately a rare role which will offer untypical exposure and access across the group at a critical time where there is likely to be a correlation between the success of the group and your own personal financial gain.
