Principal Software Engineer - 100% Remote

Our client, a Fortune 500 company within the logistics industry, is looking for a Principal Software Engineer.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Contributing to the introduction of new technology to the organization


• Contributing to multiple Agile projects across multiple systems domains through leadership and ideation


• Contributing to the enterprise application technology roadmap


• Contributing to the definition, documentation, and maintenance of architecture standards through standards committees


• Providing technical leadership across application teams (e.g.
  
  conducting training, developing learning sessions, contributing to the Architecture Review Board)


• Designing web designs that are asynchronous, responsive, and provide a rich user experience


• Acting as a technical consultant to the team's management by leveraging technical and domain knowledge to answer questions


• Providing technical leadership to the team and others through coaching and mentorship

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of engineering experience


• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related, or foreign equivalent, or equivalent; plus


• 5 years of experience using technologies such as: Java (J2EE), JavaScript, Webservices (SOAP or REST), Spring, Tomcat, SQL, Eclipse, IDEA Intellij, C#, Python, HTML, Angular JS/Angular 2, EXT JS, Android, or iOS.
