Registered Manager

A Children's Charity are looking for Registered Manager for their well-thought of Family Placement (Fostering) service.

This is a full-time, hybird working base and permanent position.

This is Charity has a great reputation, scoring very good across most areas in their latest Care Inspectorate report and they are one of the largest Children's charities in the UK.

Your responsibilities as the Registered Manager:

  • Overseeing a team of Social Workers

  • Quality Assurance

  • Supervision and Practice

  • Business Development

  • Overseeing Foster Carer Recruitment & Attrition

  • Managing & contributing to Foster Carer & staff training

  • Maintaining equality & diversity

Requirements of you as Registered Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)

  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

  • Significant experience of working within a management position in Children's Social Work

  • Significant experience of working within Fostering, ideally in an Independent Fostering Agency or Charity

  • An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering

Location: North East Scotland

Salary Scale: £45,000 - £50,040
