Senior Sales Manager

Senior Sales Manager - London (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £60k plus (flexibility for the right candidate) + Commission bonus + Pension + 23 day holidays + Benefits

Europes largest audio-visual technology consultancy firm is planning to significantly strengthen and expand its UK presence with a view towards developing an even stronger global appearance and as a result has a very exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual.

They connect people, create information networks and manages technologies.

They provide technology strategies, consulting, design, project management and operation for AV/IT systems.



The role:

They are looking for a well-established, industry-known and agile senior sales manager with extensive experience in sales, business development, and marketing to develop and drive the business in the UK market.

The day-to-day tasks of the role include:

Business development, sales, and marketing:



* Research and develop project leads and opportunities utilizing your business network and contacts


* Build, grow, and manage local UK sales, BD, and marketing teams in close coordination with company management


* Produce quotations and other sales and business development material


* Participate in client tender interviews and negotiations


* Establish and grow client relationships and develop key clients to expand the company service portfolio


* Develop service portfolio in line with company guidelines to match UK market


* Work closely together with the international sales and BD teams to expand the core principles, standards, and USPs in the UK marketplace.


* Participate in domestic and international industry meetings, trade shows, panel discussions, etc.


* Manage the company CRM-system in the UK and produce regular sales forecasts, order income, opportunity assessments, and other sales/marketing related management reports


* Develop the UK marketing department in close coordination with the wider group marketing team and company management


* Contribute to completing and updating the UK sales/BD business plans


Skills required:



* Demonstrable track record of minimum 10-year experience in AV-technology consultancy sales, negotiations, and successful business development in the UK


* Excellent understanding of AV-consultancy and building project workflows


* Large business network to leverage existing client relationships and business contacts


* Experience in marketing preferred


* Willingness to develop, build, and manage company growth


* Very strong team spirit, empathy, and interpersonal skills


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Personable, service-oriented, and professional appearance


* Work flexibly and long hours as and when required to develop the business and assist other areas
