Senior Practitioner

A large Fostering group that has been rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted is currently looking for a Senior Practitioner who is based in Eat London.

You will be assisting two Team Managers, holding a small complex caseload, supervise family support workers and undertake project work.

This role is a full-time and permanent position.

Ideally, you will need to have a background within a Fostering Team as a Supervising Social Worker / Senior Practitioner within an Independent Fostering Agency or a Therapeutic Fostering Agency.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:

• Supervising & Training Foster Carers and Staff


• Promoting the welfare of Children placed with Foster Carers


• Attending LAC Reviews

Requirements of you as Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• Working knowledge or experience of therapeutic practice


• Experience of working within a Senior/Managerial position


• Experience of working within Fostering


• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London
Salary: up to £45,000 plus car allowance
