NPD Technologist

This role involves flexible working hours between 6 am to 5 pm (7.5 hours in between those times).

Roles and Responsibilities as an NPD Technologist:

• Managing various projects from concept through to post-launch.


• Deal with kitchen samples and ensure they are in line with the customer codes or practice and the NPD procedures.


• Working in collaboration with other departments to ensure the process from start to finish runs smoothly such as signing off artwork, arranging the price of products, clarifying product/packaging briefs etc.


• Providing technical information and support to the NPD and Commercial Managers.


• Maintaining paperwork and the IT systems to provide a documented trail of NPD work undertaken.

I would eager to see CVs from individuals who have:

• Experience working in the Food Manufacturing industry in the past 5-8 years.


• Previously held one of the following job titles; NPD Technologist, New Product Development Technologist, Senior NPD Technologist, Food Technologist, Food Development Technologist etc.


• A good understanding of New Product Development within the Food Industry.


• Experience in running trails and taking samples of food products.
