Looking for a enthusiastic, driven individual to train within the company to become a skilled welder/fitter 

Paying up to £12 per hour 
Commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Uppingham, Corby and surrounding areas

 Job description

Our client is looking for a enthusiastic individaul who wants to learn the trade and become a fully skilled welder/fabricator.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with lead fitter/welder to learn the trade. 

 

The successful training welder will:

•            Will have ideally worked in an engineering environment and have knowledge of engineering drawings or studied welding and fabrication at college 

               Have a wllingness to learn a new trade 

•            Ideally have knowledge of different metal types 

•            Must have good attention to detail

•            Be able to finish a product to a very high standard

•            Be punctual and a good time keeper

•            Be confident, organised and methodical

•             Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to motivate others

•             Work well as a team member

•             Be able to problem solve and come up with solutions

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) plus overtime (Evening and weekends) at competitive overtime rates.

Salary range £12- £14 per hour depending on experience.

Must be flexible to work at weekends and work away if needed
