Criminal Solicitor

We have been instructed on a unique Criminal Solicitor role at a firm which has been established for over 30 years.

The firm has offices across South Yorkshire and acts for clients in the region as well as nationally.

This position would be based in the Sheffield office.

Our client is looking for a Criminal Solicitor who is ideally police station accredited, however, our client is happy to consider applications from candidates without this as long as they have the relevant skills and experience, having handled your own criminal defence caseload be knowledgeable with this area of law.

What makes the firm unique is the amount of private work that you would be handling, the team have represented a number of high profile individuals and you would have access to this type of work, alongside legal aid.

As a criminal solicitor you would be handling your own caseload and defending those accused of criminal offences such as drug offences, firearms offences, road traffic offences, or the more serious murder and sexual assault offences.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with 2+ years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket will be considered.
