*Newly built, luxury care home opening July 2022

Be part of our family!

We are excited to announce Burford House Care Home is the newest edition to our portfolio.

With completion expected in July 2022, we're looking for kind, compassionate and positive people to join our team.

If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in!

Westgate Healthcare is a family-run, award winning care home group.

We are incredibly proud that all of our 8 inspected care homes are rated either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by the independent care regulator, the Care Quality Commission.

About the home…

Burford House is a registered nursing home and will be home to 46 residents.

The home is close to local shops and amenities and just six-minutes bus ride to Rickmansworth town centre, with a bus stop right outside the home.

The new home will feature a luxurious lounge, dining areas, hair and nail salon, and its own cinema. Our grounds will include landscaped gardens with patios and gardening activity areas for residents to enjoy outdoor living and plenty of parking for staff and visitors.

What are the responsibilities of an Activities Coordinator?

This is a varied role where you’ll get the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of people every day by supporting the continued emotional, physical and mental wellbeing of both residents and their loved ones, helping them to be engaged, feel valued, and enjoy meaningful lives either doing the things they already love or trying new experiences.

You will understand residents’ likes, dislikes, hobbies, interests, relationships and future aspirations, and then plan, organise and implement activities and opportunities tailored to them.

Your day could include anything from gardening, arts and crafts and baking, to light exercise and therapy sessions.

What our staff say…

“There is a culture of enthusiasm which is why I’m still here and haven’t considered going anywhere else! Senior management keeps a constant eye on employee satisfaction – they invest in the future and nurture personal and professional growth.”
