THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business, based in the Preston area.

Our client is part of a wider global pharmaceutical group and are looking to double their turnover over the next 5 years.

They're looking to hire a Management Accountant to join the business, report into the Head of Finance and manage the commercial and operational side of finance.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Responsible for monitoring and controlling stock.


• Production of monthly stock reconciliations and reporting as part of the finance month end process.


• Monthly analysis and review of variances to budget.


• Completing stock forecasting


• Drive a robust stock taking process each year with the operations team.


• Working with the Head of Finance to complete, review and deliver management accounts reporting pack to support strategic decision making.


• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations


• Pull together group reporting templates within very tight deadlines


• Support the Head of Finance with any internal and statutory audit requirements


• Prepare and review with the Head of Finance/Sales customer rebates, raising monthly accruals


• Review quarterly VAT return


• Work with Head of Finance to provide accurate and timely forecasting/budgeting


• Key member of the team to drive new ERP implementation

MANAGEMENT KEY EXPERIENCE:

• CIMA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent


• Experience with high volume stock control.


• Sound working knowledge of ERP systems- preferably SAP


• Advanced Excel

THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS PAYING UP TO £50,000 + BENEFITS
