THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is partnered with a Growing Utilities Business based in Manchester.

They're looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join the business and work in a busy finance team of 5 reporting into the Finance Director.

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for dealing with transactional accounts, the fixed assets Register and can also get involved in the month end and year end accounts

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Bank Reconciliations and Sales Invoicing


• Code, check and process invoices


• Post transactions into Sage 50 including allocation of VAT


• Match invoices to POs


• Scan purchase invoices and expense claims and store in SharePoint


• Assist with preparation of VAT returns


• Match receipts to credit card statements, code and input


• Prepare financial information for audit as required


• Assist with internal audit processes where required


• Any other reasonable duties as directed


• Ad hoc financial administrative tasks

KEY EXPERIENCE:

• Studying CIMA, ACCA or equivalent


• Sage 50


• MS Excel


• Understanding or experience of working with Fixed Assets

THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS PAYING UP TO £28,000 + BENEFITS + STUDY
