Job Title: Software Developer

Salary: £40,000pa plus benefits

Location: Walsall

Who will you be working for?

Our client is a national retailer on almost every town’s high street in the UK.

They are undergoing a series of technical changes and updates making it an exciting time to join the company!

What are we looking for?

You will be working in a small team of software developers to work on application and software updates following standards already in place.

You will work with colleagues in store, head office and warehouses and be open to working on site in Walsall on occasion.

Responsibilities/skills –

• A minimum of 3 years commercial experience in System Development
• A good understanding and prior professional experience of the following technologies
  
  
  
  • .NET & C# within Visual Studio using WinForms
  • MSSQL & MySQL – Stored Procedures, Function and Views
  • Delphi (version 5 onwards)
  • Experience of writing SSIS packages.
  • Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks
  • Previous experience of using team collaboration software e.g.
    
    Jira, TFS, Git etc
  • Understanding & experience of File Transfer management such as SFTP, JSON, CSV etc
  • Be able to produce technical software documentation to a high standard
