£23,000 PER ANNUM

Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant or General Handyperson?
 

My client owns a number of high-end Hotels/Apartments across the UK and Europe.

They are currently searching for a new Maintenance Assistant to join their onsite team to continue providing the best possible service to their customers.



Commutable from areas including Hackney, Dalston, Newington Green, Whitechapel, Finsbury Park, Islington, Lower Clapton.

 

The Role

- To ensure that all rooms are maintained to a high standard including changing of light bulbs, painting retouch, maintaining electrical appliances.

- To assist the maintenance team to ensure that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safely

- To assist the maintenance team in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly and annual planned preventative maintenance schedules 

- Day to day decisions to ensure that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safely

- Ensure that resources are used efficiently

- Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescale

 

Experience Required

- Experience of maintenance, site repairs, site labouring including changing light bulbs, basic electrical and plumbing works,painting and decorating.

- Previous experience working within a Hospitality Venue or Accommodation in a similar role is favourable but not necessary

- Able to work weekends and evenings when required

- Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team

- Good communication skills

- Willingness to take any further appropriate training

- Highly motivated

Package Details

- Salary £23k per annum

- Discretionary company bonus

- 37.5 hours per week, weekend regularly required

- 22 Days Holiday plus Statutory Bank Holidays

- Company Pension
