Service Manager

An incredible new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Service Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Newtownards, Northern Ireland area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This care home provides 24/7 specialist nursing and residential care for adults with complex needs related to learning disabilities


*You must be qualified as a Registered Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin



As the Service Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring delivery of effective quality care to the people we support, helping residents to grow in self-worth and where possible independently, enhancing overall quality of life

  • Manage and maximise occupancy, by building a positive local reputation and through creative marketing strategies

  • Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, meeting and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the home striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition within the local community

  • Positive management of staff including HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of central service teams)

  • Maintaining financial efficiency and budgets for the home

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • A highly motivated and experienced leader

  • Drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support

  • Have significant knowledge of the Northern Ireland regulatory framework we work within

  • Putting your own positive stamp on the home and the business

  • Have experience within a similar role

The successful Service Manager will receive an amazing salary of £54,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts.
