Team Manager - 0-25 Team

A Kent-Based Local Authority is looking for a Team Manager to join their 0-25 Team.

As the Team Manager, you will be leading, managing and coaching a team of social workers, responsible for delivering and improving services fir vulnerable children, young people and their families.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Team Manager will have 0-25 experience.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Chair strategy, review, planning, professional and network meetings as appropriate.


• Supervise students on placement and Newly Qualified Social Workers in their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment, where appropriate.


• Effectively use available team performance data to monitor standards and performance and ensure compliance with practice standards and procedures.


• Support the safer recruitment and selection of new staff, both within the team and across Children's Social Care in order to ensure staffing levels are maintained.

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• A valid Social Work England registration


• Experience of working with disabled children, young adults and their families


• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Kent

Salary: Up to £49,937 plus £7,000 market premium and annual retainer
