Better Healthcare are one of the region’s leading suppliers to some of the country’s largest care groups and require Residential Support Worker to work in a support living service with adults with learning difficulties, autism, mental health issues, etc.

We are now recruiting for Residential Support Worker in Ely and Littleport, for 2 small homes with capacity of 3-4 residents with severe autism, located one in Ely, another one in Littleport.

We offer 3 x 13 hours day shifts every week in each of these 2 sites, making it a perfect workplace for the Residential Support Workers who want flexible but stable hours.

Our Residential Support Worker will be working in the company of other staff members, so must be confident and experienced, but will have the support needed.

You will be attending an initial induction + shadow shift for a smooth start.

The client will block book shifts for you 2 months in advance, which will give you the certainty of work every week and allow you to plan the personal life ahead.

As an ideal candidate, you will have experience of working in a residential service, providing some personal care, helping the service users with mild to severe learning disabilities.

The carers need to be drivers ideally, due to the location of the sites.

Positions with immediate start, subject to compliance.

The application process can take as little as 1 week if you have all the documents, DBS registered with Update Service and trainings up to date AND the references are returned quickly.

We'll support you through each step of the application to help you start working as soon as possible.
