Assistant Manager Maternity Cover

On behalf of our client, Corus Consultancy is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager based in Streatham (SW2).

You will need to ensure continuous sales activities, excellent customer service and high-level organisational management in order to generate company profitability.


Job Description:

Planning, prioritising, development of self/others and finally commitment is what we are looking for within the next Assistant Store Manager.


To be successful, you will be able to communicate confidently and coherently, be an effective team member, be proactive and adaptable to the requirements of the organisational sales targets.


Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Achieve the financial targets agreed for the Store.

  • Ensure compliance with company operational and financial procedures.

  • Design and carry out marketing and sales activity plans with support from the Regional Manager.

  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and continual development of new and existing employees; to enable them to achieve their highest level of potential.



  • All standard and ad-hoc reporting is accurate and timely and follows all current company procedures.

  • Ensure rotas are fair to all, approved by the Regional Manager and appropriate to the store.

  • Complete all managerial and monitoring duties associated with company compliance.

  • Maintain Health and Safety training records and identify in advance, licenses and certificates which are due to expire and book the appropriate training course.

  • To comply with Health and Safety legislation and identify and report were action needs to be taken.
