Criminal Duty Solicitor

My client, who have built up a portfolio of high profile cases are seeking a Criminal Duty Solicitor who has interpersonal skills to join their team in Liverpool.

The main duties and responsibilities:
This list is not exhaustive but includes the main duties of the role.

- Taking instructions and advising clients Advocacy in Magistrates
- Court Attending Police Stations
- Case preparation Instructing Counsel and Experts
- Prison visits Covering Saturday Court and Bank Holiday duties (on a rota basis)
- Police Station Out of hours On-Call (on a rota basis) - Police Station accreditation 
- To comply with Duty Solicitor requirements as set out by the LAA
