Senior Youth Practitioner

A North London based Local Authority are looking for a Senior Youth Practitioner to join their Youth service.

As the Senior Youth Practitioner, you will have line management responsibility for a team of youth workers and will lead the planning/delivery/evaluation of an open access youth work offer provided from the youth hub.

This role is a full-time, permanent position.

As the ideal Senior Practitioner, you will have unwavering commitment to delivering excellent services for young people and communities, with the vision and drive to continuously improve outcomes for young people and the skills to lead an innovative youth work offer from the youth hub.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Practitioner:

• Arranging secure stable, safe permanent living


• Implement care plans and pathway plans


• Liaise effectively and efficiently with both internal and external partners


• Participate in team and other service meetings and activates

Requirements of you as the Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• A valid registration with Social Work England


• Experience of working within Care Leavers


• Experience of working within Adult Services


• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: Up to £44,628
