Registered Manager

Experienced Registered Manager required for a new and expanding care provider who specialise in supporting vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.


I am looking for an existing Home Manager or strong Deputy Manager who has excellent knowledge of working within a Children's Residential Home.


Working as the Manager, you will oversee the day to day running of a busy children's home as well as providing professional support, guidance, and supervision to the staff team.

The sucessfuly candidate will register and open a 2 bedded EBD home once operational will open a second 2 bedded home and manage both services.

Responsibilities of the Manager include:



  • To be responsible for all administration/childcare functions at the home

  • To promote good childcare practice within the home

  • To be directly involved in Case Conferences, Reviews and Planning Meetings

  • To ensure specific administrative tasks are performed accurately

  • Management of the staff team in a manner which maximises their output and enables them to achieve their potential


Requirements of the Manager include:



  • Effectively lead a team of staff to enable the highest quality of care

  • Strong experience working as a Manager or Deputy Manager in a similar setting

  • Strong staff supervision, managerial and communicational skills

  • Excellent Ofsted knowledge

  • Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management
