Mechanical Engineer

This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer vacancy offers a salary circa £52,600, plus 5% bonus, company pension matched to 10% by the end employer, generous holiday allowance and overtime opportunities at x 1.5 and x 2, for those who want it, taking earnings to in excess of £60/65k plus per annum.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is based in Leighton Buzzard, the hours of work are 4 on 4 off - Days and Nights, from 6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am, 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off.

Roles and Responsibility of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer;

• Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory


• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems etc


• Carry out Reactive Maintenance Activities as required

To Be Successful as a mechanical maintenance technician

• You will need to hold one of the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, apprentice trained etc


• Maintenance Engineering experience


• Planned and reactive maintenance experience
