Field Service Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established plant and agriculture company in Leighton Buzzard

The Field Service Engineer role comes with a basic salary of £11.00 - £19.00 per hour depending on experience with fantastic opportunities for progression.

• Hours: 40 per week


• Company Uniform


• Paid overtime

Key Field Service Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Investigate and diagnose technical problems with equipment


• Service a wide variety of machines


• Ability to work independently


• Complete job cards to a high standard promptly and within a given timeframe


• Request parts efficiently and effectively


• Good customer service skills


• Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment


• Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards


• Take responsibility for health and safety

Minimum Technician Requirements:

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)


• Excellent customer service skills


• Good technical knowledge


• Must have a Driving License


• The ability to work without supervision


• Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
