Production Wireperson

Our client is looking for skilled and experienced Production Wirepersons to join their team on a permanent basis.

They have been suppliers to the aerospace, defence, energy and other industries for several decades with high-quality testing equipment.

The right Production Wireperson will need to have:

• Experience in the production of wiring looms or cable assemblies


• Well-practiced in crimping, soldering and lacing to aerospace standards


• Be able to wire fixtures and cabinets


• PCB assembly experience is desirable but not essential


• Be able to understand engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring schedules


• Experience working to IPC 620 Class 3 standards


• Need to be eligible for a security check

In return, you'll get:

• Overtime paid at 1.3x for hours worked past 39 hours


• Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked on weekends or bank holidays


• 39 hours a week with an early finish on a Friday


• £11.80-£12.82ph depending on experience and suitability


• 24 days of holiday per year plus bank holidays


• Option to work a 4 day, 39 hour week
