Regional Service Centre Manager

£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Company Van + Benefits



My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Service Centre Manager to join their team.

The purpose of this role will be to develop and deliver strong sales and exceptional service.


Service Centre Manager Requirements:

  • UK Driving License
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experienced fitting/assembling machinery parts/components
  • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety
  • Experienced Managing a team of Fitters
  • Experienced dealing with customers and providing quotations for work
  • Flexible to working hours and able to work overtime when required
  • PC Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Work
  • Demonstrates resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure.


Service Centre Manager Duties:

  • To ensure that all employees fully understand and deliver the key performance indicators for the Regional Service Centre.
  • Able to maximise sales / service opportunities and minimise costs, via effective time management.
  • Champion a safe environment and be a role model for safe working practices, both in the Regional Service Centre and whilst on customer sites.

    Demonstrate awareness, adherence and recognition of the Health and Safety policy and act for non-compliance or contravention of the policy.
  • Maximise the productivity / utilisation of the Regional Service Centre resource, whilst retaining quality of service and continually seeking to improve performance.

  • Regularly review; resource planning, personal development plans and training requirements of the team to ensure operational excellence is achieved, whilst retaining quality of service.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are effectively managed, as defined in the Quality Management System.
  • Drive personal quality standards throughout the Regional Service Centre through the monitoring of general appearance, pride in equipment, and quality of work and customer relationships.
  • Support and work closely with Regional Sales Manager to identify and implement business development opportunities to create and maintain regional growth.
