We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Learning and Development Assistant to join our People and Development team.

This is a new post with a key focus on supporting the Learning and Development Business Partner in cultivating a culture of continuous learning and growth.


The successful post holder will also support in developing and embedding a learning community, which promotes inclusivity, equality, accessibility, colleague well-being and provides a safe and inspiring work environment for people from all backgrounds and experiences.


You will be working for an organisation that has a lot to offer in return including a generous holiday allowance of 20 days annual leave plus not less than a total of 15 days at Christmas, Easter, New Year, May day, Spring and Late Summer bank holidays or days in lieu, a dedicated wellbeing programme, cycle to work scheme, employee assistance programme and substantial pension scheme.

We also offer hybrid working with 1 day working from home each week.


SALARY: from £24,780 to £27,868, plus excellent holidays and contributory pension scheme


HOURS: Full time 36.5 hours per week (8.30 am - 4.30 pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30 am - 3.30 pm Fri).

Flexibility of working hours is reasonably required from time to time to meet the requirements of the post.

This includes occasional evenings and weekends.

We offer hybrid working with 1 day working from home each week.


LOCATION: Warwick SU, Coventry, West Midlands, UK.

Occasional off-site working is required (please note there may be working from home requirements)

You'll have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role with up-to-date knowledge of L&D best practice along with a commitment to championing diversity and inclusion.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to liaise effectively with different stakeholder groups and communicate complex information clearly and simply.


You'll have the ability to work independently and on your own initiative, working as part of a wider team.

Escalating issues and queries where required.
