The Role and Company

I am currently working with a fabulous peaceful cafe concept in the heart of Wimbledon, focusing on well-being, health, nutrition and mindfulness.

They are best known for serving whole foods, organic wines, locally brewed beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails.

Their cafe is a peaceful space where people can connect, work, relax, host events and find support whilst eating nourishing and energising foods and drinks.

Skills and Experience of a Café Manager:

• Closely manage key P&L lines, especially labour costs, making adjustments as required, as well as conducting budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
• Deliver retail profit targets without compromising the brand, customer experience, product quality or employee engagement.
• Making sure your team are serving absolutely superb coffee, as well as leading your team to deliver amazing experiences for your customers
• Constantly inspiring your team to go the extra mile for our guests, keeping expectations & standards high
• Coaching & developing your team to be the best they can be.
  
  You are passionate about growing individuals within your team and helping them in their individual career journeys.
• Confidently running shifts and working closely with your team to go the extra mile for our customers
• Ensuring the day-to-day basic practices of your cafe are maintained at all times including coffee quality, food quality, customer experience, health & safety and food hygiene & allergen practices
• Effectively dealing with customer feedback, using this as an opportunity to improve performance and operational best practice
