CAD Technician

We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join a leading manufacturer in the West Yorkshire area.

The CAD Technician is responsible for providing general engineering support to the sales team addressing customer enquiries and orders.

Position: CAD Technician

• Salary: £32,000-35,000


• Shift pattern: Monday - Friday


• Location: Batley


• Job type: Permanent

Duties for the CAD Technician include:

• Producing CAD Drawings to suit customers' requirements.


• Updating stock and quality management-controlled document systems as required to manage design changes.


• Work with wider engineering functions within the business to ensure product quality and manufacturing capabilities are well supported.

Competences required of the CAD Technician:

• Ability to read technical / engineering drawings


• Understanding of Laser Software


• Use of a modern 3D systems e.g.
  
  AutoCad


• Organizational and time management skills


• Experience in a similar role.


• Engineering Background.


• HNC / HND / Degree Level

This role would suit someone commuting from Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield or in and around the West Yorkshire area.
