Our Cleint are a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) approved supplier; through this partnership we are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this large and friendly primary based in north Birmingham.

Plus, we are offering a £50 joining bonus for registering with Smile Education in addition to other termly incentives!
We are delighted to be working alongside this vibrant primary in the recruitment of a SEND Teaching Assistant.

The successful applicant will be joining the team from September #####, this is a full-time role expected to last the full #####/23 academic year.

You will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis.

This pupil has Global Delay and some personal care may be required.

Full details on the pupils requirements can be provided upon request.
This school is located within proximity to Ladywood, Bearwood, Harborne, Smethwick and Birmingham City Centre.

This is a friendly and vibrant setting reporting progress scores inline with City averages.

SEND requirements in school are mostly based around SEMH needs.

Applicants will have the opportunity to meet our client prior to being appointed to the role.

The expected salary range for this position is between £65 -£80 per day, dependent on experience level.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
, Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification- for example, Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in School
, Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
, Able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
