Accounts Assistant (12 hours)

My client is looking for a fully remote part-time Accounts Assistant to work on a part-time basis, managing all areas of Purchase Ledger and Accounts Receivable.

As a successful Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including:

  • Daily reconciling of client payments against remittances, including dealing with any payment queries arising.

  • Processing all purchase invoices and deal with any queries arising.

  • Setting up and processing client direct debit payments.

  • Assisting in month end and year end procedures where required.

As a successful Accounts Assistant you will have:

  • At least 2 - 3 years of accounts / bookkeeping experience.

  • Computer literate with good Microsoft Word and Excel skills - able to produce and use excel spreadsheets.

  • Experience of Sage HR and Xero accounting software and DocuSign is desirable but not essential as training can be given.

  • Highly organised, flexible and thorough in approach and demonstrate the ability to prioritise and maintain focus.

This Accounts Assistant role is 12 hours per week, over 3 days and paying a salary of £7463.
