Head of Residential Conveyancing

SaccoMann have been instructed on an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Licensed Conveyancer or qualified Chartered Legal Executive to join their Derby offices as the Head of Conveyancing.

This would suit an experienced Conveyancer with previous experience in team management.

Our client is a specialist conveyancing law firm with an excellent reputation across the East Midlands and have recently opened a second office in the Cardiff area of Wales.

The role


- Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be managing your own small caseload of a variety of Residential Conveyancing matters


- Alongside your caseload, you will be managing the remortgage, sales and new business teams


- The line managers amongst the teams will be reporting directly to you


- You will be taking instructions from clients and advising them appropriately on their case


- You will be responsible for billing your own files and obtaining any payments due to be made to the firm


- The team has plenty of administrative and secretarial support so all work will be appropriately distributed


- Establishing a positive atmosphere which empowers team members to reach their full potential


The ideal candidate


- You will be an experienced Chartered Legal Executive from a strong Conveyancing background OR a Licensed Conveyancer with upwards of 4 years' experience in the field


- You will have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment


- You will be organised with the ability to effectively prioritise your work
