My client is an established firm in the engineering manufacturing sector, based in Leicester and is commutable from Leicester City Centre, Narborough and Oadby.

They are currently looking for a skilled Office Manager to be the first point of contact for clients and colleagues.
 
The Role:

- Be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all general office tasks, including reception duties, switchboard, answering emails
- To act as first point of contact for the office
- Be responsible for the ordering of office stationery and cleaning materials.
- Be responsible for updating and maintaining the franking machine
- Banking
- Attend H&S meetings and follow up on actions as required, including updating and maintaining H&S policies and procedures
- Undertake HR functions including; maintaining HR/training records, attending and recording HR meetings as required
- Undertake induction training for new employees including H&S training
- Undertake the task of fire marshal
- Raise and send purchase orders as required.

Chase any orders that are outstanding.
- Enter contracts on the internal database and create route cards for works
- Enter new parts and operation details onto internal database, ordering parts when required
- Process quotations and order confirmations as required
- Organise charity fundraising
- Liaise with agencies regarding any agency staff hired including submitting time sheets.
- Assist employees with any queries or requests
- Book courier collections

 
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

- Experienced in handling confidential work
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good telephone manner
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Previous senior administration experience
- Ability to prioritise work and multitask
- Experience of using in-house CRM’s
