Logistics Engineer

Holt Executive is supporting a pioneering defence and aerospace contractor, delivering mission-critical technology and systems to customers on the land, sea, and air.

They are currently recruiting for a Product Logistics Engineer to join their fast-paced, innovative business in Horsham, West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Logistics Engineer:

• To be both the focal point and drive continuous improvement within the ILS function (Integrated Logistics Support).


• Be comfortable with improving the following: Reliability, Availability and Maintainability - RAM, Level of Repair Analysis - LORA, Logistics Support Analysis - LSA, Obsolescence Management and reporting, Reliability Centred Maintenance - RCM, FMECA and FMEA activities, ILS Support inputs to sales initiatives.


• Make sure contract obligations are supported throughout the entire product lifecycle.


• Identify individual training needs and responsibilities for own professional development.


• Complete all admin actions in a timely and accurate fashion including weekly timesheets and status reports.

Professional Experience & Qualifications for the Product Logistics Engineer role:

• Knowledge of previous logistics experience (ILS) in either MoD or similar fields.


• Experience of working to deadlines, and communicating well when multitasking.


• Ability to travel for short periods of time as required.


• Ability to attain Security Clearance (SC).


• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team or individually.
