Community Paediatric Nurse

Location: Kensington and Chelsea Borough

Salary: £38,000 - £60,000

Our client a prestige private medical company are looking for a registered Paediatric nurse to join them.

Working on different platforms to provide healthcare to patients.

We are looking to speak with anyone who has experience as a Paediatric nurse, childrens nurse


* Verbal/Written communication skill (Russian speaking may be an advantage)

* Experience building long-term complex communication with patients and relatives

* Ability to apply communication skills with children from 0-18 years, dying patients, patients with special needs

* Knowledge of legal requirements: Infection control, Patient safety, safety of medicines

* Set of standard skills; Blood Pressure, measuring pulse and blood oxygen saturation, measuring body temperature and breathing

* Use of rating scales

* Phlebotomy services including full cycle of collection, preparation and dispatch of blood samples

* Intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous injections

* Work with express test; COVID, influenza, Streptococcus,

* Cannulation

* Care of the central venous catheter, including PIC Line

* Administration of medicines (Including controlled medicines)

* Simple dressings in minor surgery

* Complex dressing (Including assisting to a Doctor)

* Skill in the field of general hygiene of the patient (Caring of ears/skin etc)

* Work with Stomas, feeding patients through a gastrotomy

* Working with drainage systems

* Work on diagnostic equipment (ECG, glucometer, etc)

* Work on therapeutic equipment (Compression and ultrasonic inhalers etc)


* NMC registered, Paediatric (Advantage to have two registrations)

* 1 Year experience in a hospital or health care setting
