Business Development Executive

As Business Development Executive you will be joining a global company on a full time, permanent position.

As BDE, you will be covering the South of the UK, focusing mainly on driving sales growth - 70% existing business and 30% new business.

This is a busy and varied role, requiring you to travel to a wide range of establishments to promote the brand and provide stimulating and relevant demonstrations of the huge array of products.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about technology!

You will be responsible for:

  • Representing the brand and demonstrating products and solutions to both channel partners and end users

  • Working within the company's B2B division, you are required to achieve specific targets through the planning of business objectives, maximizing existing account business and opening new accounts

  • Build an effective pipeline of business

  • Providing on-site and remote demonstrations, solutions, and training to a range of audiences

  • Arranging meetings to discuss and demonstrate the products, creating awareness and demand

  • Attending exhibitions and roadshows in support of the team and resellers

As Business Development Executive, you must have/be:

  • Some experience of either sales, business development or customer service with demonstrable results-driven outcomes is required

  • Technical product experience is nice to have but not essential, attitude matters most and they will teach you the rest!

  • Strategic account management and negotiation skills with a desire to succeed in a competitive environment

  • Strong relationship building skills and pride in customer service

  • Confident on the telephone to speak with both totally new and existing contacts

  • Able to pay attention to detail and to be organised

  • The ability to create and deliver relevant presentations, suitable for a range of audiences, to help to showcase the complete solution

  • An interest in technology and an ability to absorb a full knowledge and understanding of the complete product range, its features, benefits and associate software

  • A collaborative mindset with an ability to answer questions on operation, warranty, and software, including installation of each solution

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and to deadline

  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous but not essential

  • Full driving license
