Marcomms Manager

A Marketing and Communications Manager is required to join an established provider of B2B services worldwide.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Marketing, Communications or Marcomms role.

Ideal locations - Stockport, Glossop, Manchester, Oldham, Northwich, Warrington, Bolton, Macclesfield, Buxton

This role does support a hybrid working model with the successful candidate having the capability to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Basic salary circa £30k dependent upon experience + 25 days holiday + pension + employee perks and discount platform + cycle to work scheme

The Candidate

  • Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Communications, Media or a related field.

  • Proven, hands-on experience in a Marketing and/or Communications role.

  • The ability to manage projects and coordinate key stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • A creative thinker, able to generate new ideas and shape stories, becoming a trusted resource for internal stakeholders and driving the execution of full-scale communication projects.

  • First-class writing and editing skills are required for this position including the ability to write press releases, key messages, video scripts, bylines and blog posts.

  • Proficient in AP style of writing.

  • A familiarity with content strategy, SEO, analytics tools, website contribution and other marketing technology is required.

The Role

  • Manage the branding for laboratories from audit to suppliers to sign-off, including site visits when necessary.

  • Drive internal communications initiatives to promote our client as a great place to work, including creating opportunities for large-scale interaction and content on internal channels.

  • Organise and prepare employee events.

  • Order company branded items for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with sales & technical teams to create marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, white papers) for offer launches and update them as necessary, finding new topics to continue client engagement.

  • Co-ordinate the editorial, design, production and dissemination of marketing publications.

  • Manage and contribute to social media, including group editorial calendar (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).

  • Draft external press materials, including press releases and pitch letters.

  • Manage and co-ordinate the update UK & ROI website, manage SEO & SEA campaigns.

  • Co-ordinate the design of artwork for documentation, banners, exhibition displays, adverts, vehicles graphics.

  • Produce email marketing campaigns for clients.

  • Organise and prepare, client events, trade shows & seminars as needed.
