The Role - Social Media Assistant:

This vital role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media Assistant to be a part of our plans for the next phase of growth in website traffic, sales, brand awareness, client partnerships, followers, and subscribers.

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, as a Social Media Assistant you will:


  • Publish in-house editorial content across our social media accounts.
  • Be involved in planning, scheduling, and monitoring our social media activity, and some management of our social media accounts.

Person Specification - Social Media Assistant:


  • A passion for B2B and/or B2C social media
  • A passion for Travel Industry
  • Detailed understanding and experience of (at least 3) LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms
  • Experience of Microsoft OS, and Windows applications
  • Ability to think imaginatively with content creation
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with strong work ethic
  • Good level of organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent standard of both written and verbal communication skills
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills
  • An eye-for-detail
  • Good proof-reading skill

Desirable, But Not Essential experience of Social Media Assistant:


  • A passing interest in Web Design / WordPress
  • An understanding of graphic design and creation processes
  • An understanding of social media video production processes

Advantageous Tools Experience/Familiarity of Social Media Assistant:


  • Social Media Scheduling Tools i.e., Social Pilot, HubSpot, or Hootsuite
  • Meta Business Platform
  • Canva
